Jackie is an Australian ceramic artist who's work reflects on concepts of human vulnerability and strength. Her constructions exploit clay’s tendency to tear, sag, bulge and bend to bring them a life that embodies our daily interactions.  These highly  manaipulated constructions challenge traditional notions of beauty,  encouraging the viewer to empathise with them as individuals and  small narrative groups .  Jackie exhibits around Sydney and works from a studio in Collaroy.
